ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ ܠܥܰܡ̱̈ܡܶܐ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܝ ܫܠܺܝܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܰܡ̱̈ܡܶܐ ܠܬ݂ܶܫܡܶܫܬ݁ܝ ܡܫܰܒ݁ܰܚ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ | verse 13 | For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: |
ܕ݁ܰܠܡܳܐ ܐܰܛܶܢ ܠܰܒ݂̈ܢܰܝ ܒ݁ܶܣܪܝ ܘܰܐܚܶܐ ܐ̱ܢܳܫܺܝ̈ܢ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ | verse 14 | If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. |
ܐܶܢ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܡܶܣܬ݁ܰܠܝܳܢܽܘܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܠܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܗܘܳܬ݂ ܟ݁ܡܳܐ ܗܳܟ݂ܺܝܠ ܦ݁ܽܘܢܳܝܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܠܳܐ +ܚܰܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܡܺܝ̈ܬ݂ܶܐ | verse 15 | For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? |
ܘܶܐܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܪܺܫܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܩܰܕ݁ܺܝܫܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ ܓ݁ܒ݂ܺܝܠܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܶܐܢ ܥܶܩܳܪܳܐ ܩܰܕ݁ܺܝܫ ܗ̱ܽܘ ܐܳܦ݂ ܣܰܘܟ̈݁ܶܐ | verse 16 | For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. |
ܘܶܐܢ ܡܶܢ ܣܰܘܟ̈݁ܶܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܦ݁ܫܰܚ ܘܰܐܢ̱ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܙܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܰܪܳܐ ܐܶܬ݁ܛܥܶܡܬ݁ ܒ݁ܕ݂ܽܘܟ݁ܝܳܬ݂ܗܶܝ̈ܢ ܘܰܗܘܰܝܬ݁ ܫܰܘܬ݁ܳܦ݂ܳܐ ܠܥܶܩܳܪܶܗ ܘܰܠܫܽܘܡܢܶܗ ܕ݁ܙܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ | verse 17 | And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; |
But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. |
ܘܰܟ݂ܒ݂ܰܪ ܬ݁ܺܐܡܰܪ ܕ݁ܣܰܘܟ̈݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܬ݂ܦ݁ܫܰܚ ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܕ݂ܽܘܟ݁ܝܳܬ݂ܗܶܝ̈ܢ ܐܶܬ݁ܛܥܶܡ | verse 19 | Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. |
ܫܰܦ݁ܺܝܪ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܦ݁ܫܰܚ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܒ݁ܗܰܝܡܳܢܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܩܳܡܬ݁ ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܶܬ݁ܪܺܝܡ ܒ݁ܪܶܥܝܳܢܳܟ݂ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܚܰܠ | verse 20 | Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: |
ܐܶܢ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܥܰܠ ܣܰܘܟ̈݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܝܳܢܗܶܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܚܳܣ ܕ݁ܰܠܡܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ܠܳܐ ܥܠܰܝܟ݁ ܢܶܚܽܘܣ | verse 21 | For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. |
ܚܙܺܝ ܗܳܟ݂ܺܝܠ ܒ݁ܰܣܺܝܡܽܘܬ݂ܶܗ ܘܩܰܫܝܽܘܬ݂ܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܢܦ݂ܰܠܘ ܩܰܫܝܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܥܠܰܝܟ݁ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܒ݁ܰܣܺܝܡܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܶܢ ܬ݁ܩܰܘܶܐ ܒ݁ܳܗ̇ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܰܣܺܝܡܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܶܐܢ ܠܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ݁ ܬ݁ܶܬ݂ܦ݁ܫܰܚ | verse 22 | Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. |
ܘܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܐܶܢ ܠܳܐ ܢܩܰܘܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܚܰܣܺܝܪܽܘܬ݂ ܗܰܝܡܳܢܽܘܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܐܳܦ݂ ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܢܶܬ݁ܛܰܥܡܽܘܢ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܽܘܒ݂ ܢܰܛܥܶܡ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ | verse 23 | And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. |
ܐܶܢ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܡܶܢ ܙܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܰܪܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܰܟ݂ܝܳܢܳܟ݂ ܐܶܬ݂ܦ݁ܫܰܚܬ݁ ܘܰܕ݂ܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܟ݂ܝܳܢܳܟ݂ ܐܶܬ݁ܛܥܶܡܬ݁ ܒ݁ܙܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܛܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܟ݁ܡܳܐ ܗܳܟ݂ܺܝܠ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܐܶܢ ܢܶܬ݁ܛܰܥܡܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܙܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܝܳܢܗܽܘܢ | verse 24 | For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? |
