If you are looking for a combination of two different readings, you have to choose "search for events" instead.

You can switch between basic searches and advanced searches. In basic search mode you can limit the results only by giving characteristics of the lectionary or the text but not the events and you can not combine several different filters. In advanced search mode you can also limit results by date formulas, event names and combine several filters by AND, OR and NOT and brackets () in quite a sophisticated way.

You can combine 2 or more queries by AND, OR and NOT and brackets. Press on "add filter" to open an additional query filter where you can specify freely what you want to include or exclude. This is useful e.g. for searching all events on which Matthew is read in combination with one of the Minor Prophets except Hosea. "filter 1:book=Mt AND filter 2:(corpus=Minor Prophets EXCEPT filter 3:book=Hosea)". You can go back to the definitions of any filter and modify them by clicking on it (e.g. "filter 1") in the grey equation line. You can delete any filter with the button delete.
